CLI reference
Generated from a live server’s command catalog (checkout c6630d1): 40 built-in commands and 179 commands generated from contracts.
Your own install may show more or fewer, depending on its contracts; me help and me help <command…> are always
the source of truth for the server you are connected to.
Regenerate this page with pwsh docs/guide/reference/Update-CliReference.ps1 [-Me <path to me.exe>], with me
logged in to a running server whose contracts match the checkout (the script refuses an older server and an empty
catalog). Do not edit it by hand.
How to read it:
- Kind. An Operation changes something and returns an operation state; a Query only reads; Resource
commands (
list, get) read stored records. - Risk. The tier the authorization gate uses:
Read,LocalWriteandExternalReversiblerun;ExternalCommunicationandHighneed your approval (unless an agent’s delegation reaches that tier);Criticalneeds a passkey step-up and is refused to agents. See Concepts → Approvals. - Common options are listed under each command, as
me help <command> --jsonreports them.--input-json '<json>'(or--input,-for stdin,@file) gives the whole input at once. When a command’s own input has a field calledinput,--inputsets that field and only--input-jsontakes the whole input; those commands say so under their table.listtakes--limit(default 20);gettakes a ref. - Array flags repeat (
--tags a --tags b), split on commas (--tags a,b) or take JSON (--tags '["a","b"]', needed when a value has a comma). Arrays of objects take one JSON object per flag. Object flags take JSON. - One of several sets. When a command needs one of several sets of flags, they are listed under its table.
